About the Author
J.M. Briggs is a lifelong fantasy enthusiast and the author of The Iron Series, with new projects awaiting publication. Raised in the wild beauty of Montana, she spent countless family camping trips with a book in hand. Her love of storytelling was nurtured early on by her mother, who read her classics like The Phantom Tollbooth and The Chronicles of Narnia as bedtime stories—sparking a deep and lasting love for the genre.
She earned a degree in history and political science from the University of Idaho before completing her Master’s at the University of Westminster in London, England. Drawing on global folklore and historical themes, her work blends the mythical and the real to reimagine legendary figures in surprising new ways. When not writing, she enjoys reading, gardening, tabletop games, and dabbling in far too many craft projects.
